Electrode paste, also known as Soderberg electrode, is a conductive material supplied to electric furnace equipment such as ferroalloy furnaces and calcium carbide furnaces. 


The advantage of electrode paste is that: 

1 It has good conductivity. Can effectively conduct current. 

2. Good high temperature resistance, able to maintain stable conductivity even under sustained high temperatures. 

3. Good bonding performance, able to firmly adhere to the electrode without easy detachment. 

4. Good corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. 

5. Good environmental performance. 

During the research and development process, the electrode paste pays attention to improving its environmental performance, using more environmentally friendly materials and processes to repair the furnace bottom and melt solder flux. 

In alloy smelting, electrode paste and melting flux can be used as materials for repairing furnaces. Overall, electrode paste plays a role in conductivity, heat transfer, and electrode protection during the smelting process.
